Algirdas Šochas, born in a family of musicians in Vilnius, Lithuania, is one of the most promising young violinists, working on a global stage. He took his first violin lessons from his mother at an early age of five, entered the Lithuania’s National M. K. Čiurlionis Gymnasium of Arts at the age of nine, and debuted as a young-virtuoso solo violinist by playing Czardas of V. Monti together with the Lithuanian National Chamber Orchestra under the conduction of Maestro Saulius Sondeckis at the age of ten.
